Katie Keel hails from Knoxville, Tennessee, where she grew up with the Smoky Mountains and Tennessee River outside her doorstep. As a result, she’s been in love with the outdoors from a young age and always very active.
After trying nearly every sport as a kid, Katie decided to focus on swimming. For college, she went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she had a successful career in the pool culminating with the 2012 Olympic Trials.
She now lives in Colorado and is your classic “mountain spirit”- embodying the outdoors lifestyle every day. Katie’s favorite things to do include skiing, snowboarding, climbing, hiking, cycling, running, camping, mountain biking, yoga, triathlons… you name it- she’s probably into it. She also competed in her first full Ironman triathlon in Boulder, Colorado in 2015.
Katie loves to travel and is your quintessential opportunist- she’ll try most anything at least once and is always looking for an adventure.
After being introduced to the brand in college, Katie has been a huge fan of the company. “Jolyn has such cute, functional products for active women and I’m excited to spread the love to Colorado!”
